Peer Reviewer Process

All manuscripts submitted to The Journal Interdisciplinary Horizon Research (TJIHR) undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of published articles.

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
The Editorial Board evaluates each submitted manuscript to determine its suitability with the journal's focus and scope, compliance with the author guidelines, originality, and overall academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be rejected before the peer-review stage.
  2. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are reviewed using a double-blind peer-review process, in which both the authors' and reviewers' identities remain anonymous. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject area.
  3. Review Criteria
    Reviewers assess manuscripts based on:
    • Relevance to the journal's focus and scope.
    • Originality and scientific contribution.
    • Methodological rigor and validity.
    • Clarity of presentation and organization.
    • Quality of analysis and discussion.
    • Appropriateness of references and citations.
    • Ethical compliance.
  4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor may decide to:
    • Accept the manuscript without revision.
    • Accept the manuscript with minor revisions.
    • Request major revisions and resubmission.
    • Reject the manuscript.
  5. Revision Process
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers' comments and submit a revised version within the specified deadline. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation if necessary.
  6. Final Decision
The Editor-in-Chief has the final authority to accept or reject a manuscript for publication based on the reviewers' recommendations, the quality of the revised manuscript, and the journal's editorial standards.

Throughout the review process, all editors and reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality, objectivity, fairness, and academic integrity while avoiding any conflicts of interest.
