Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to The Journal Interdisciplinary Horizon Research (TJIHR) are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth editorial and peer-review process.

  1. Manuscript Scope
    • Manuscripts must be relevant to the journal's focus and scope and demonstrate an interdisciplinary approach by integrating two or more academic disciplines.
    • The journal accepts Original Research Articles, Review Articles, and Case Studies.
  2. Language
    • Manuscripts must be written in English using clear, concise, and academically appropriate language.
  3. Originality
    • Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in any other journal.
    • Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for properly citing all sources.
  4. Manuscript Format
    • Manuscripts should be between 5,000–8,000 words, including references.
    • The manuscript should be prepared using the journal's template.
    • The recommended structure includes:
      • Title
      • Abstract (150–250 words)
      • Keywords (3–5 keywords)
      • Introduction
      • Methods
      • Results and Discussion
      • Conclusion
      • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
      • References
  5. References
    • References must follow the APA 7th Edition citation style.
    • Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant references, with the majority published within the last 10 years.
    • A minimum of 20 references is recommended, primarily from peer-reviewed scholarly journals.
  6. Ethical Considerations
    • Authors must comply with the journal's Publication Ethics.
    • Any conflicts of interest, funding sources, and ethical approvals (where applicable) must be clearly disclosed.
  7. Plagiarism Screening
    • All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before peer review.
    • The maximum allowable similarity index is 25%, with no more than 5% similarity from a single source.
  8. Peer Review Process
    • All eligible manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers.
    • Authors are required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers' comments within the specified timeframe.
  9. Submission
    • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system.
    • Authors should ensure that all required metadata and supporting documents are completed before submission.
  10. Author Fees
  • The Journal Interdisciplinary Horizon Research (TJIHR) does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, editorial processing, or publication.
